Cycling is a very popular activity in Puglia. Groups of Italians on bicycle trips are a regular feature on the roads. Of course, being Italian, they cycle very fast on the very sophisticated, very latest, high-fashion models of bikes, equipment and cycling gear! Several visitors have asked us where they can hire bicycles. To be honest, we haven't tried cycling ourselves. But here sare some possibilities:

The owner behind www.pugliainbici.com speaks excellent English. Bicylces will be delivered and collected from you. Their headquarters is in Monopoli, but the owner spends half is time in Alberobello.

The second possibility is www.trullienatura.it. Again, we haven't tried any of their services ourselves, so cannot make a recommendation at this stage, but, based in Alberobello, they do rent out bicycles.
